Day 1 of the cardigan trip

Today is the first day at cardigan. We met at the high school and rode the bus to cardigan, This is an example of one the themes of geography, movment. We did a few activities in the field and were separated into groups. In my group we assigned jobs and then we headed out to do a stream study, This is another example of movement. when we got to the stream we did a sketch of it and all the animals we saw in the water. Another example of movment is the water in the stream moving down the mountain in the form of a stream. The stream study was fairly interesting. After we were done the stream study we headed back for supper. The food wasn't that bad. we did a few night activities, Mr. woolner read us a story and we went to bed.
